About Me.
I am a PhD candidate in English literature at Harvard and a JD candidate at Columbia Law School, where I specialize in constitutional law and voting rights. I am also a writer, and currently writing my first book, The Secret-Seekers: A Book Detective's Quest to Decipher the Renaissance.

I solve real historical mysteries for a living and you can read or hear about some of them here. Many of them involve secret codes and ciphers--which has led a staggering number of people to tell me that I'm "the real Robert Langdon"--and forgotten women writers. My discoveries have been featured in the New York Times, the London Times, Smithsonian Magazine, the Washington Post, and other international media.
History is a detective story: there is lots to discover and learn, so browse the site and join me in unraveling the past. Find me on social media or contact me below!
